Drive around the World
DownloadSixteen months, 30 countries, and 41,000 miles later, the Drive Around the World LONGITUDE Expedition crosses the finish line of the global expedition to raise awareness and funds for The Parkinson's Institute. The Expedition, which featured six Bay Area residents, left The Parkinson's Institute in four Land Rover Certified Pre-Owned Discovery SUVs back in November 2003. They returned to the Parkinson's Institute this morning to the cheers of staff, well-wishers and sponsors. Along the way, The Drive Around the World team travelled through Central and South America, Australia and Asia. They even met the Dalai Lama in India. Photo by Kim Kulish
